The food was out of this world! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend finishing with the bread pudding! The live music was amazing. A little loud to have a conversation, but super fun atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Came for the drinks and loved the food! Ropa vieja and lobster empanadas were awesome. Tostones de lechon were good too. The drinks are the highlight with own versions of mojito and daiquiri as well as some craft creations and some more options for every taste. Love the ambiance and theme, the setup and service are on point. Reservations are only for 2 hours and the live band starts at 7, so reserve and plan ahead. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70

This place is a must-visit. I first visited Cafe La Trova about three years ago, and it was the number one place I wanted to go back to when I took another trip to Miami. The food is excellent, the drinks are excellent, the decor is excellent, there’s live music, and the staff really seems to take pride in their establishment. It is rare that service workers have that attitude, and I don’t blame them, it’s rare that they have something like this to be proud of, so that just shows how special this place is. I will continue to go back anytime I’m in Miami. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
