Just tried to book for a group of 15 people for brunch in a month’s time to be told that they don’t take bookings and to just turn up. No further explanation given. Obviously, if you’re in a group, most of whom would have travelled over long distances to attend an event, it would be nice to sit together and not all over the place, on the off chance enough tables are available. What kind of business sense means a cafe will turn down a group booking like this in favour of walk-ins? They’ve lost our business now.
