My cafe of choice on my bike rides … often plan my route so I can sit outside with a coffee about 80% distance and watch the world go by for a bit: and then hit the climbs to get out of Barnt Green and get home. Staff here are always lovely, often take pity on me, the state I’m in. No millionaire shortbread left today(!) which sounds like a disaster, but it’s just an excuse to go back later in the week. Highly recommended.

Lovely coffee but, visited with a cycling group. We had to wait almost half an hour to receive our coffee orders (no food, just coffee), which was served by the one staff member on the counter in takeaway cups (run out of crockery, couldn't keep up with the washing up).Our table was cleared while we were waiting, but not wiped. Cafe was busy, no windows open for ventilation. Come on, you can do better than this!
