Hector was a great server. Polite, direct but not in the pushy way. Will ask to be seated with him when we return tomorrow because that sweet potato biscuit was chefs kiss! I must try something more adventurous on the menu tomorrow but the omelette and breakfast sandwich were great. Just make sure to order sweet potato biscuits on the side. Also, outside was beautiful. My husband and I visit Ventura often. We always-always visit Cafe Nouveau. Last week we spent the week in Ventura for our son's wedding. Not only did we eat there 3 times many of our friends and family were recommended to eat at Cafe Nouveau. Everyone raved about their meals and returned more than once. The service is 5 star and the food is of the charts! If you enjoy a morning mimosa, you have to try the pomegranate mimosa. Don't pass on Cafe Nouveau. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
