We came across Café POLEPOLE as we were searching for a cup coffee and were incredibly happy to find this beautiful place. We initially just wanted to order something to drink, but the menu had so much variety and everything looked amazing. So we ordered not just an Iced Coffee and Yuzu Lemonade, but also a Tomato Basil Pasta and a Japanese Curry. Since we were there in September, the owner used fresh cherry tomatoes and basil from the small garden in front of the café and I was blown away by the delicious taste! Needless to say, I probably had the best pasta of my life, in Tokio. He also used ginger and garlic to elaborate the taste and it was fantastic. Everything we ate and drank there was unbelievably good. So I would recommend everyone who is near Shibuya station, to do the 30min drive for a calm ambiance, an incredibly kind staff and unforgettable food and drinks. If you are staying at Enzo Iogi, as we did, this place must be your first stop before heading into the city center! They also gave us a lot of great inside and recommendations for our time there.
