Someone was asking on Redit if there is better pizza in Bloomington than Mother Bear’s. I was recently there for a class get together. I really wasn’t impressed. Just average. I have been enjoying Cafe Pizzaria’s pizza since it opened in 1953. I was 6 years old then and possibly the Pizzaria’s first customer. They delivered pizza in Volkswagen Beatles with a big key twist on the back. There phone number back then was 2-2111. I can’t tell you how many hundred pizzas I have enjoyed over 71 years, but the last pizza I had there was exactly the same and just as wonderful as the first pizza that I fell in love with in 1953. The Pizzaria’s pizzas haven’t changed in 71 years. I always order a 16” sausage and mushrooms with extra cheese. If you haven’t experienced this, you need to beat a path to the door of Cafe Pizzaria. this is the perfect restaurant if you want to save the planet.the pizza crust is guaranteed made from recycled cardboard. highly recommend one of the other many restaurants in bloomington. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
