It's time to try good chocolate mousse, profiteroles and chocolate cakes. Here you can order delicious marsala, martinis or chianti. Get your meal started with great chocolate frappe, espresso or cappuccino.

My husband and I went to dinner to Portofino the first day we arrive at the Marriott Vacation Club and Kauai. To start the host wasn't very friendly, asked us if we had a reservation and obviously we didn't but he looked a little annoyed. The restaurant has a great view but everything else is dated and most of the servers have a "huge" attitude. Having said that the food left a lot to be desired. Tastesless and very expensive. I had just a plate of pasta and it was pasta from a packs. Tomato sauce was extremely bland. Definitely we are not going back. Beware of asking for more bread because you will be charged for it. Awful service, very disappointed.

We took our kids here before hitting the airport as my daughter requested spaghetti for her 5th birthday dinner. The kids spaghetti and meatballs was WAY overpriced for a tiny pile of noodles that left her still hungry. The view was nice, so I guess that’s what we paid for. My husband and I visited this restaurant in July of 2022 while staying at The Royal Sonesta. It was our 3rd night. It blew us away! We went back 2 more nights to eat there again. The caprese, the meats, the pastas, the bread- even the roasted veggies - everything was so damn delicious we still compare every Italian restaurant we go to with it. We live in the SF Bay Area and both of us have Italian grandparents and we still have yet to find a place here as on point as Cafe Portofino. We're seriously talking about going back to Kaua'i just to eat here everyday. Honestly can't wait to go back Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Linguine Alla Carbonara, Margherita Pizza, Caprese, Chocolate Mousse, Meat Lasagna, Garlic Bread, Fettuccine Alfredo
