We dined at Cafe Rene after a 20-minute walk from the train station. Just like the lavender smell from the fields, sitting in this cafe had a calming effect. Maybe it was because the cafe was unenclosed so the air flowed from one opening to another. Or maybe it was the food. We enjoyed our gratin and curry meals - simple yet satisfying.
