Unfortunately, Cafe Reyes was a disappointment. After having truly excellent brick-oven pizza at Mojo Pizza yesterday, the difference was immediately noticeable. The pizza at Cafe Reyes was, to put it mildly, just mediocre and nowhere near the quality or flavor we experienced at Mojo. We also ordered oysters, and after the fresh, delicious seafood we had earlier today at Gualala Seafood Shack, these were another disappointment. Maybe we caught Cafe Reyes on an off day, but based on our experience, both the pizza and the oysters were underwhelming. Considering the reputation of this place, we honestly expected much better.
