The owner of Cafe Ridge runs cooking classes. He taught us how to make dhal, pumpkin and potato curries, with other salads and veggies alongside it. It was a great experience and most importantly, his recipe made for a terrific meal!

While there are a lot of other food places in Ella town, we’ve decided to stick to our hotel’s cafe and boy was it a right choice! The chef makes everything fresh and from scratch and it was totally worth the wait. As we’re from Singapore, we’ve made a special request for ours to be extra spicy. Location wise, it’s slightly off the beaten track but expect no more than a 5-10min walk up from the main town area. You can really feel the sincerity and passion from the amazing flavours and hospitality received m. And do try out their devilled chicken!

Sehr tolles und authentisches Resturant. Auf unserer Reise war das Essen von hier ganz klar mit das beste.Very great and authentic resturant. On our trip, the food from here was clearly the best.
