I had a wonderful experience at Café Riese! After searching for a good breakfast spot, I’m so glad I found this place. The service is exceptional—it’s not self-service, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and hospitable. In a time where genuine kindness can be hard to find, the waitress here was a breath of fresh air; she was very friendly, had a great smile, and spoke perfect English. What I loved: Speed: My order arrived very quickly. Dietary Options: They offer lactose-free milk, which is a huge plus. The Food & Coffee: The coffee is excellent. Cleanliness: The tables and ashtrays were perfectly clean. Overall, a 10/10 experience. If you’re in Cologne and looking for a place with great vibes and even better service, this is it!
