I just started READING all the 1 star reviews after I wrote mine.. thinking am I being a KAREN? No. All of them share my exact story, no meats, no beans no sauce, bad attitude, order wrong. and nothing changing. The missing manager needs to be fired at this point. I waited a long time to write this review. Honestly I hoped things would change. In California we had Sharkey's. In my are Cafe Rio was the closet to Sharkey's. One of my favorite places. But on my last 3 visits, the service has been horrific. 1) Clerk slamming and slapping all my food in bowl 2) No meat in my moms fajitas 3) verbal altercation with worker, cause when she was on break she was all happy, but miserable with my food - not listening, acting angry, exasperating like I was a bother. Another worker said "it was normal for the girls to be atrocious, so he and the other guys just keep their head down and don't talk" 4) I said no rice in my burrito - rice was the main ingredient 5) ordered enchiladas -they put zero sauce on my enchiladas and the cheese was not melted, but the tortilla was overcooked, so the cheeses melted a tiny bit, no cheese on the 30 beans they gave me. 6) tried to order chips and salsa, did not get on all 3 visits. 7) no managers to complain to, afraid to complain about my food, cause I will never be able to go back and I would be afraid to eat. as soon as there a better place locally, I will never ever go back. 8) mint tea no slapped together... This REVIEW is for 1939 e BASELINE. I hope your cafe rio is better. this was a place I loved. Vegetarian options: you have to modify your order and pray they get it right. Parking: available, typically get ok spot. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

Just ordered takeout/delivery nachos. I've been here several times in person and it's normally a good experience. However the quality for delivery is vastly different as the common trend now days seems to be to skimp or give less to the customer when they are not there to overlook in person to ensure product they pay for they receive. I was very disappointed with my order I had no cheese paid extra for queso got non (nachos without cheese are just chips smh). And two jalapenos paid extra for these as well. I'm not sure I'll be back even in person. People work hard for there money can't stand feeling like I got ripped off.
