First time ever at a Cafe Rio-- I said so (being the only customer in line), and the guy serving nevertheless rushed me along . After saying I'd get a bowl to go, I asked for "white rice--a small amou"...whump whump! Two huge scoops of rice. I asked which bin was the shredded por...WHUMP, pork was flung on my dinner. Can I get some fajita veggies? "We won't have them for ten or fifteen minutes". In any case, very odd and conflicted bunch of flavors (sweetened pork?) , and some of the black beans were so salty that I thought maybe a disgruntled employee has resorted to sabotage. Ate about a third of it because of my hunger; tossed the rest. Three stars is generous,--not a fan--and not returning. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Not a bad place & I’ll be back 2 sample more menu items. I had a smothered chicken & pork burrito . I visited close to closing time and they had no steak However,my burrito was alright enough to wanna return for other things. The staff were all super friendly and helpful because we had never been there before. So check em out if you’re ever in the neighborhood and holla at a Playa Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Build Your Own Bowl
