An authentic Viennese café dating back to 1867, popular with locals. It has a simple, genuine atmosphere and very good coffee. Unfortunately, the food was rather disappointing. Worth visiting for the coffee and its historic atmosphere. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

My partner and I visited ‘Cafe Ritter,’ a historic Viennese coffee house established in 1867 on June 7, 2026 (Sunday). Located on the popular Mariahilfer Straße in the centre of Vienna, we had a brilliant time at the café. We had two bowls of fruit yogurt and a cheesecake. Both the items were very tasty. We also soaked in the vibe of old Vienna. The service was excellent. Also, the retro design of the café transported us to a time that has long been forgotten. If we ever happen to visit Vienna again, we shall definitely be visiting this café one more time! Great work folks!
