Custumer service from a waitress was bad they were 2 the short was nice the other was so mad with everyone even people on the kitchen to be a waitress you must must have a nice pleasant caracter and leave the bad mud at home. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

First time eating here and I ordered through Uber Eats, and let me say—THIS HAS TO BE SOME OF THE BEST-TASTING PUERTO RICAN FOOD I’VE EVER HAD!!! Everything tasted so authentic, like my grandma cooked it herself. When I say the rice was PERFECTION!! The jibarito was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the alcapurrias brought back so many memories of making them with my grandmother years ago. Everything was absolutely delicious. 10/10 this is officially my new favorite spot!!! Food: 5

7/11/26 I had the opportunity to take three of my kids (ages 18, 10, and 5) out for a lunch date at Cafe Rosa on Archer Ave, and I can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We arrived around noon, and the restaurant had a few families and patrons already enjoying lunch. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Soft classical Spanish music played in the background, creating a relaxing ambiance that made you feel right at home. The dining area was clean, thoughtfully arranged with cute tables and chairs, and had a cozy family feel without being crowded. Before sitting down, we all went to wash our hands. As a parent, I always notice the little things, and the restrooms did not disappoint. They were spotless, fully stocked, and clearly well maintained. It’s one of those details that speaks volumes about how a restaurant is run.Once we chose our table, our waiter greeted us with a smile, handed us menus, took our drink order, and gave us plenty of time to look everything over. Since this was our first visit, he asked if we had any questions and never made us feel rushed. After about five minutes, he returned, answered a couple of questions we had, and took our order. For drinks, two of us ordered the passion fruit juice, my youngest daughter chose the strawberry juice, and my son kept it simple with a Sprite. The fresh juices were absolutely delicious and refreshing. To start, we ordered two empanadas and one papa rellena. My son kept calling the empanadas “enpaninis,” which gave us all a good laugh. After the first bite, we immediately knew we’d made the right choice. The empanadas were perfectly crispy with flavorful, seasoned filling, and the papa rellena had a crispy exterior with a soft, savory center that was incredible. They disappeared so fast that we ordered another round of two more empanadas before our entrees even arrived. For my meal, I ordered the Jibarito with arroz con gandules, and it was phenomenal. The steak was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The garlic-seasoned plantains were perfectly crisp on the outside while staying soft enough to hold everything together. Fresh lettuce, tomato, melted cheese, and the perfectly cooked meat created one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The arroz con gandules was flavorful, fluffy, and complemented the sandwich perfectly.My daughter ordered the pollo guisado con papas, and it tasted just like a home-cooked Puerto Rican meal. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, the potatoes soaked up all of the rich seasoning, and every bite reminded us why comfort food never goes out of style. The kids loved the large order of Puerto Rican rice, and they happily helped themselves to everyone’s plates throughout lunch. Every single dish that came to our table was fresh, hot, beautifully prepared, and generously portioned. Everything was so good that before leaving, we ordered another meal to take home for my husband, because we knew he’d be disappointed if he missed out. Looking back through the photos while writing this review honestly has my mouth watering all over again. What really stood out, though, wasn’t just the food—it was the service. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until we walked out the door. The staff made our children feel comfortable, the restaurant was very kid-friendly, and our family never once felt rushed despite ordering extra appetizers and a take-home meal. For a family of five, including drinks, appetizers (twice!), entrees, sides, and an additional meal to go, I thought the pricing was very fair and offered tremendous value for both the quality and portion sizes. 10/10 recommend.
