A lovely little café in Arashiyama with a cozy atmosphere and excellent coffee. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel personal and authentic. Lovely chef running the place! Got a little talking with her and she is amazing! She makes everything by scratch and makes one of the tastiest curries I have ever eaten. Really cozy too and the salad is so fresh and the homemade dressing just makes it complete! Would have love to know the recipe but it was a secret she said . Highly recommended! We just stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking from the bamboo forest to the train station. Very small, intimate, run by a lady who is chef server and everything. She was so sweet and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to eat lunch. Not for large groups. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
