What a gem of a place, we’d been to the Deli the day before and bought some granola and flour, and had a take out coffee, so we were really looking forward to a late breakfast at Café Rua. First impressions were a fantastic welcome and real friendly people, nothing sham or pretend here. What a great menu, absolutely something for all tastes and dietary requirements. The chorizo, spinach and sautéed potatoes, topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and accompanied with chilli relish was excellent. Real fresh orange juice was delightful, and the coffee? Epic! What a fabulous way to spend time being looked after in one of the best cafés I’ve visited. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
