Quaint little cheese on toast shop! After visiting the castle we decided to pop somewhere nearby for some lunch and found this movie themed toast cafe. Unique flavours based on popular movies or some classic options too. I chose Dune which was cheese, honey, and a secret spice (black pepper and nutmeg), really tasty. The gent who owns it was very welcoming, giving us a note on the kansai dialect, helping us say simple phrases. As an avid cinema goer he has all the pamphlets to the movies he's seen (you receive one whenever you visit the cinema). He works the entire cafe alone and hand bakes the bread every morning. Lovely setting and lovely service. Couldn't recommend the place more. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000

The owner was so kind! He brought over movie pamphlets for us to look through and taught us some Kyoto dialect! The food and coffee were great and we enjoyed looking at all of the posters!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Breakfast at Cafe Seberg is AMAZING!!!!! Fresh baked bread that is delicious! Great service from this cute 75 year old owner. So lovely! Thank you, we will come again for sure! Family of 4 so stuffed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000
