Sweet cafe with a chill atmosphere and great selection of hot tea/coffee! Great place to meet up with friends or on a date or even just by yourself! Servers are kind and personable! Conveniently located next to the coolest comic shop, too!

I ordered the salmon bowl the fish tasted really bad I immediately spit it out . Took it back up to the counter and the owner came over and got very defensive and told me I just don't know what good fish taste like I went back to my table and he again came over and started jumping all over me telling me the fish is fine . I did not say anything and then his wife came over and started telling she ate some out of my bowl and it was fine . I said I spit my fish out in that bowl . She said so I ate I tried it anyway . They would not leave me alone and said I was ruining there reputation and asked me to leave . I could not believe how I was treated . I will never go back there . The people sitting around were In shock Food is also very over priced

I always come here and each time am inspired to rave about this place. The staff is super friendly , they're very helpful and patient when there's mental overload of what to order! This morning I got stood up by my friend (probably overslept from a busy night out, or work, hope she's okay you know who you are!) but nothing's going to dampen my spirits since am happily enjoying my caramel Macchiato, and smoked salmon scramble. I just soak in the ambience: there's a table next to me of young college students working on their laptops, 11 o'clock is the bar with professionals and their laptops (yep, we can't disconnect from our devices) , 9 o'clock is a guy chilling on the couch reading his book... just a wonderful Saturday morning gathering of folks just enjoying the ambience, the instrumental music playing (is anybody noticing?)... The food doesn't need any rating, expected to be yummy. And my smoked salmon scramble is no exception. Bon Appetit everyone, check out Cafe Stella on Colonial Avenue in Norfolk!
