I stopped by recently and had mixed feelings about my experience. I ordered a pistachio latte, but unfortunately the pistachio flavor was barely noticeable. For the price, it felt underwhelming and not really worth it. On the positive side, I ordered the Dubai crêpe, and it was delicious. It was definitely the highlight of my visit. My friend also ordered the tres leches cake, but we found it overly sweet and not particularly memorable for the price. The service, however, needs improvement. While I was there, a customer who had been waiting about 30 minutes for her order went back to the counter, only for the staff to realize that her order had somehow been missed. She ended up needing a refund. As for my own order, my crêpe was ready and sitting at the counter, but it remained there for several minutes before it was handed to me. The young man working was attentive and helpful when I asked about it, but the young woman preparing drinks came across as somewhat dismissive throughout the interaction. I also had an issue when checking out. A 15% coupon appeared on the payment screen with a message indicating that the cashier needed to apply it. When I asked about using it, I was told it could not be applied, without much explanation. Overall, the Dubai crêpe was excellent, but the pistachio latte was not worth the price. My friend’s tres leches was below average and overly sweet, and not really worth the cost either. I would come back for the crêpes, but I hope the customer service experience improves. The restaurant has consistently fallen short in cleanliness, food quality, service, and professionalism. The bathroom fixtures are loose and poorly maintained, toilet paper roll out of paper, the bathroom door feels cheap and the overall condition of the space gives an unprofessional impression. Service is consistently slow, with food and drinks often taking an unusually long time to come out. The food and beverages themselves have been disappointing on multiple visits. We have received moldy cake more than once, coffee served in dirty cups, and refreshers that taste watered down and low quality. The overall impression is that minimizing costs is prioritized over providing quality products and a good customer experience. Customer service has also been poor. When mistakes are made, staff rarely apologize or take accountability, and there does not seem to be any effort to make things right through refunds, replacements, or compensation. There have also been occasions where staff handled food without gloves, which raises concerns about hygiene standards. What says a lot is that this is clearly not an isolated opinion. In just the past month alone, the restaurant has received five separate 1-star reviews, which reflects a pattern of recurring issues rather than a one-time bad experience. Multiple customers appear to be noticing the same problems with quality, cleanliness, and service. Overall, the restaurant feels very overrated compared to the experience it actually provides. I stopped by Cafe Tamra for lunch the other day and had a great experience. The place has a really cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the owner was very friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered a few sandwiches with coffee, and everything tasted great and looked nicely prepared. You can tell they care about quality and presentation. The coffee was also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. It’s a small café, modern, and relaxing — a great spot to sit down, enjoy good food, and take a break. I’ll definitely be coming back again and checking if this place improves even more . I would recommend to check on bathrooms and their cleanliness and work conditions .
