The best vegan place to eat in Southampton. Great menu with plenty of choice. Fast service and friendly staff. The cakes always look good but we're always too full to sample any! I was in Southampton to play a show with Dave Rowntree (the drummer from Blur) and was tasked with finding the best place around for lunch for me and the bass player before soundcheck. On a hunch I chose Café Thrive – it was a complete triumph.I had the vegan sausage baguette. I'm not vegan, but this was as good as any sausage baguette you will get anywhere. Nice soft bread, lovely sauces and melt-in-the-mouth fried onions just delivering a truly scrumptious (if rather messy) lunch.Top notch! Bravo!
