The manager was very rude to me for the first time. I had to remove a can soda from my order. As he looked down at his cell phone, he told me to put the soda back in a rude and disrespectful tone. I was shocked because he is normally nice to me. I buy sandwiches all the time so I was really surprised that he was talking to me like this. I am not in the mood for sandwiches from Cafe 12. The turkey was very dry yesterday. Sad day. I ate half of my sandwich and tossed the other half because I was deeply hurt about his behavior towards a loyal customer.

Delicious sandwiches by a local shop in an area where there are very few (no?) lunch options. I attended a conference nearby and without Cafe Twelve I would have had to order delivery. I hope this shop hangs on! They had reduced staff when I went and the shop is sparse but the food is freshly made, tasty, and hits the spot. If you're part of the flood of feds returning in office be kind and patient with them as they adapt back to a larger customer base, too.
