Tasty products, not great service. We were trying to communicate in English and with hand gestures what we wanted, the sign said 5.50 for a Marzipan pastry, we ordered that, but because we had it in the place, and not takeaway, we got charged €11. Excellent pastry shop and cafe with seating (outdoor and indoor). The ambience invites you to linger. There is a large, friendly room for larger groups. Even in GDR times, the pastry shop was so popular that people stood in line. The baked goods and confectionery are delicious, prepared with love and attractively presented. The cheerful saleswoman was extremely friendly and always wore a smart smile. My daily trip to Cafe Wegner is safe.
