Terrible experience. We didn’t have hot water for the shower. The room also had no shampoo or body wash. We went to reception to ask for it, and they told us they would bring it to the room. I ended up waiting in the shower for over 30 minutes, and nobody came. My boyfriend went to reception four different times asking for shampoo and body wash, and each time they still didn’t provide anything. In the end, I personally went downstairs, and the receptionist, Mattia, simply said: “Here’s your shampoo.” The whole situation was unacceptable. I ended up leaving my room at 2 PM because they were unable to properly assist us. We also complained to the manager/director, who told us we had to handle it through Booking.com. However, Booking.com said that any compensation or resolution must come directly from the hotel. Service: 1

Beautiful, impeccably appointed rooms paired with truly exceptional service. The cacio e pepe was easily one of the best I’ve had in Rome. I’m genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews — my experience was nothing short of outstanding. This is a stunning hotel in an incredible location, literally right next to Harry’s Bar. I highly, highly recommend it — especially if, like me, you have very high standards. Service: 5

Hotel Via Veneto was an all around 5 star experience. The room was spacious and lovely. The staff, especially Roxana and Stefania were beyond helpful and went over and above to assist in any way they could. The location of this hotel was perfect and everything I needed was within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. The most delicious breakfast was served and dinner was excellent. This was a most memorable trip, and I will never forget how wonderful the staff and this hotel was. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Rome. Grazie mille!
