Such a great bar/restaurant in rural Spain! We were driving towards Zaragoza from. Burgos and decided to come off the motorway towards the small town or Corella where we found this gem of a place. We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome from the owners and seated in the air conditioned bar/restaurant area. The Menu del Dia was €14 euros and comprised starter, main course, desert or coffee accompanied with wine/water and gaseosa (a kind of soda that we added to our wine), The food was fresh and delicious. We had the gazpacho and pasta starters followed by thin but perfectly seasoned steaks and chicken served with fried potatoes. Four of us weary travellers felt full and well fed when we left and would definitely recommend to others if passing through to stop off.
