Bought the 200g Italian Blend at Romeo's Mitcham Square on 13 July 2022. There was no roast date that I could find, but an expiry date of 16 September 2023. I guesstimate that the expiry date would be 1 year 3 months after roasting, so these beans were within a month of being roasted which I think is legitimate considering the taste. The larger bags had an expiry of April 2023, so would have been stale. I was pleasantly surprised and will buy regularly if I can get a fresh batch. These beans are strong, smooth and sweet. They cut through milk very well. If you don't like strong coffee, then probably avoid or drink tea or warm milk. They were a ripper bargain at less than $5 for 200g on special at Romeo's, and seem to retail at $6 on the Caffe' Mondo website. I'd give them 5 stars if the roast date was more evident and I could try some within a week or two of roasting. That may be possible if you buy direct from Caffe' Mondo.

I’m a big fan of coffee but I realised most coffee capsules had that burnt after taste. It didn’t make it enjoyable so got a bit turned off and thought I’ll just leave it to the barista instead! However, trying Mondos coffee made my day. It isn’t burnt, has a beautiful aroma as you open the packet and tastes incredibly smooth. I’m honestly hooked! Looking forward to having Mondo coffee as my staple in m house
