So when waiting to be served today at this store I was able to overhear the 2 way conversation between the server and the customer, aside from talking rather than getting on with her job their conversation was berating her male colleague for not being able to find something in the fridge. This may have been amusing but when she carried on doing this and used the term mansearching I do take offence. If it was a male talking to a female that way then it would be called discrimination straight away. Poor professional standards and an untidy store. Staff were very friendly and provided a good service however the place was filthy. Probably the dirtiest cafe I've been in for a long time the floor, tables and seats all need a good deep clean.

With Costa across the road being refurbished, my hand was slightly forced to visit Caffè Nero. My experience was a great letdown. Staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. Coffee was OK which also doubled up as a useful hand warmer, the place was very cold (staff included). Friendly service and a warm environment goes a long way to secure returning customers, sadly it was missing here. Won't be returning. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
