I really enjoyed this café. It has a lovely atmosphere and is a great place to take a break while visiting St. Peter's Basilica. The coffee was excellent, and both the breakfast and desserts were delicious. Everything looked so good that I honestly wanted to try every dessert in the display. Its location is perfect if you're exploring the Vatican area and want to relax for a while before or after your visit. I would definitely come back.

This is a total gem for travelers looking for eggs—and/or pastries—for breakfast. They have a wide selection of baked goods (including gluten free croissants and a few desserts). The service here was excellent and our waiter (Anthony) spoke English at a native speaking level. Not just for tourists, Caffè Vergnano attracts locals and is just a short walk from Vatican City. We came here in the morning on Thursday without a booking, after going to the Vatican Museums and before our St. Peter's Basilisca tour. We were seated quickly and the food came out within a good time too. Staff were friendly, prices were good and the food was really nice! Would definitely come back and recommend to others!
