I’m surprised by all the terrible reviews. We had a nice lunch of two big sandwiches, two spritzes, and two espressos for 34€. Not cheap but doesn’t seem bad for a touristy area. The food was all lovely and the staff were quite nice. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20

We were hot and needed a snack. Caffè del Portico hit the spot. We got a tomato and mozzarella sandwich and a red sauce and mozzarella pizza. They were €6 each but they hit the spot. There was no change to sit down and eat them. The owners were kind and delivered them to us. A good spot for a snack, a drink and some shade for the weary. Came for a quick espresso on Saturday. Sat at a couple outdoor tables and was moved around a couple times by staff before being told we can’t sit at tables unless we’re ordering food. Ordered an espresso at the bar. Older gentleman (likely manager) spoke horribly to staff. Not sure who would want to work there, let alone support that type of business style Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
