Pecan and coconut tilapia was delicious! The white cheddar grits are a perfect complement. The bacon wrapped and BBQ shrimp were also super good. It’s sad this place is closing June 1st.

I just wanted to visit this restaurant before they close their doors on June 1. I don't live in Little Rock anymore. They were pretty busy, then again, it was a typical Friday night. You couldn't tell that they were closing down. Come to find out, a member of their staff informed me that it was because of the building owners going up on the price of the lease. Because the wait time was almost 2 hours long, we decided to visit another food establishment. Needless to say, Little Rock will be losing a great staple to their food scene.

Cajun's Wharf has a great location overlooking the River. It is a large place, with several rustic dining rooms, and private dining areas. It has substantially declined over the years.   Why anyone would go here for the food is beyond my comprehension. The food is universally tasteless and bland. Baked Salmon was served cool - tasteless. The grilled vegetables were mushy and overcooked - had been sitting for some time before being plated.  The grilled chicken was overcooked, hard to chew, and except for the burn marks had almost no flavor. The fried shrimp was ...fried - not much else to say.  I doubt it came from the Gulf.  Gulf Shrimp tastes better than that.  The place is well worn, needs renovation and some maintenance. Servers were doing their job without much enthusiasm or attention to detail. Tried to visit the bar where there was loud music only be turned away by a large bouncer who wanted me to pay a cover charge - Hey, I just ate here and spent $$$ for crap food and I'm not allowed to even visit the bar. I read this place was closing - hopefully sooner than later.
