Come here for good bouillabaisse, fillet steaks and seafood risotto if you are hungry. Try tasty parfait, lemon dessert and lemon meringue at this restaurant. Delicious cordial, house wine or white wine are among the best drinks to order. At Calendal, visitors can have good coffee.

Had really wonderful service at dinner and staff was super friendly, attentive, and had good recommendations. Got to try local white wine, their sardine appetizer, and their bouillabaisse. All were fresh and done well, sardine dish surprised me the most and really liked the bouillabaisse. Restaurant was easy to walk in during earlier dinner times but fills up fast by 8:30/9pm. Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had dinner at this restaurant and it was wonderful! We tried the bouillabaisse, fish, and mussels , everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The place gets very busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation in advance. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Calendal in Cassis was a standout for us—especially if you’re gluten-free. Nico, the owner, was exceptional. He took gluten-free requirements seriously from the start, clearly explaining what was safe and making us feel completely at ease (which is rare and hugely appreciated when travelling). The food was beautiful—we had fresh fish with Provençal herbs, capers, olives, and tomatoes, cooked simply and perfectly. But what really elevated the experience was the attention to detail and care around dietary needs. They also serve a homemade Aperol spritz, which was one of the best we’ve had—fresh, balanced, and the perfect pairing with the meal. Warm, thoughtful service, incredible food, and genuinely gluten-free friendly—highly recommend. Would recommend for coeliacs (celiac). For two people we paid €90 with a bottle of wine.
