I found out today the staff will serve gluten to you after asked not to. I was made aware this happened on several occasions. Thanks a lot. It can be challenging eating gluten free but it's infuriating when restaurant staff lie to you about dishes. My simple dish had only vegetables and sea food. The only other ingredient was oyster sauce which clearly had wheat flour. I won't be eating there again. Dietary restrictions: Staff will lie to you about dishes being gluten free. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We have been to the Calgary Trail Noodle House several times before. This gives you an indication that we like the place. We find the manager and staff friendly and the food very good. It is nothing fancy but good. My wife and I shared an appetizer which was the deep fried pork dumplings and they were nice but I prefer pan fried. I had the scallops with cashew nuts and noodles. I had it before and it was very nice. I guess I like it even more since I keep getting the same dish. My wife had the House Combo Grilled Pork, Spring Rolls, Pork Ball, Shrimp & Beef. This is her usual too and again very good. We were too full for dessert. Yes we will return.
