We recently had the pleasure of dining at Calico Restaurant and Bar in Wilson, Wyoming, and we must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This hidden gem deserves every bit of praise for its fantastic drinks, delectable appetizers, and mouthwatering entrees. To kick off our evening, we indulged in the Bruschetta as our appetizer, and it was a delightful introduction to the meal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the crispy bread acting as a canvas for the fresh, tangy toppings. It left us eager for what was to come. For our entrees, we chose the Rigatoni Bolognese on our first visit, and it was an absolute revelation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the rich, meaty Bolognese sauce was heavenly. It was a dish that transported us to the heart of Italy, leaving us craving more. So enamored were we with our initial experience that we returned for a second visit, and this time we opted for the Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna. Both dishes surpassed our expectations. The Chicken Parmesan boasted a golden, crispy coating enveloping tender chicken, smothered in a luscious tomato sauce. It was a true comfort food masterpiece. As for the Lasagna, it was a symphony of flavors. We are not big dessert people but we had to try their lady fingers Tiramisu and it was also fantastic and the cognac flavor was awesome. The overall atmosphere at Calico is warm, inviting, and exudes a sense of sophistication. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about their craft. They made us feel welcomed and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. If we had more time we would have wanted to try their pizzas expecting that their sauce is fantastic on their other meals. In conclusion, Calico Restaurant and Bar in Wilson, Wyoming, has become one of our favorite dining establishments. The combination of fantastic drinks, exceptional appetizers, and unforgettable entrees make it a culinary destination worth seeking out.
