Visited Calorie Counter last month and the best I can describe my experience is mediocre. The food was lacking in any standout flavour. What disappointed me most was the fact my chicken breast was microwaved, therefore I felt that my dish was void of any freshness. The rice was dry but the coconut sambol was nice. I ordered a smoothie, which was fine, but it's served with a paper straw so after about 5 minutes it turns into mulch. The juice had split after 10 minutes but that's normal. The interior of the restaurant is okay. Nice calming vibe, no obnoxious music playing and you can hear the kitchen preparing (microwaving) your food. Service was the best. Attentive, accommodating and welcoming. I might come here again. Perhaps I visited on a bad day. I was in a rush, so I couldn't really appreciate more of the menu. But I wouldn't go out my way to recommend Calorie Counter. It's a low 3 stars.

Fresh, honest, and exactly what they promise Rarely does a restaurant live up to its own claims, but this place genuinely does. Every ingredient is fresh — fruits peeled and prepped right in front of you, juices made to order, and bowls put together with real care. No hidden sugars, no preservatives, no shortcuts. Just wholesome food done properly. The personal touch makes all the difference. You can see exactly what goes into your meal, which builds a level of trust you don’t often find. For anyone mindful about what they eat, this is the kind of place you’ve been looking for. Highly recommended — and completely deserving of the reputation they’re building. I had a really disappointing experience at Calorie Counter Negombo last Friday. I went in wearing my bike helmet, and the staff immediately assumed I was a delivery person, even though I politely explained that I was just there to enjoy a coffee. Despite my clarification, I was still treated like a delivery boy, which made me feel really uncomfortable and unwelcomed. <br> <br>It was upsetting to be judged based on my appearance rather than as a customer. I’ve been to plenty of other coffee shops, and I’ve never had such an experience. Customer service is key, and I feel like this shop really missed the mark. <br> <br>I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the customer experience for all types of guests, no matter what they look like.
