Had a wonderful meal at Camote last night.

The lentil dal was delicious, filled with perfectly cooked vegetables and accompanied by amazing paratha.

The lamb pepper fry was equally delicious, beautifully sauced and came with the same paratha. I only wished for more of that wonderful sauce.

The servings are generous; we wanted to order more, but couldn’t manage another bite.

Guess we’ll just have to return to try more of the very interesting sounding dishes.

Scott, the chef and owner and Kerry, co-owner and front of the house are gracious and generous hosts.

Freddie, our waiter was great: friendly, attentive and helpful.

We will definitely be back soon.

Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for this restaurant!! We have been wanting to try it for a while and we were not disappointed. Interesting menu choices and for appetizers the shrimp tostadas were delicious. For our group the star of the show was definitely the fish dish. The flavours were out of this world with coconut bouillon and plantains. Highly recommend. We'll be back to try other menu items for sure. A delicious evening of dishes ranging from SE Asia, France and Spain. Of the very best curated wine lists in Mérida that caters to all tastes with cocktails and liquor to match. Well executed dishes with a kitchen and staff that paced our dinner perfectly. Plenty of excellent menu choices for carnivores, pescatarians and vegans. A relaxed atmosphere and bar seating for a casual meal solo. This place is a gem worth patronizing!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
