The Legend of El DoradoWhen: September 29th; Wednesdays – Sundays | 7:00pm & 9:30pm. El Dorado, the infamous girl gang has just broken out of jail and is running from the law. When these three women made the pact of solidarity no one ever expected that they would soon become the most legendary outlaws in the country. The gang of horseback riding, man-eating women were a fearsome trio of renegades redefining what it meant to be a woman on their own terms with no compromise. How El Dorado found themselves out running the law, robbing corner stores at gunpoint, and seducing their unsuspecting victims while in high heels, fishnets, and nail polish are things legends are made of. With an original soundtrack produced by Can Can's Pink and Pezzner featuring the vocal stylings of Seattle's own Brent Amaker, Vince Mira, Jordan Taylor, and Jasmine Sim The Legend of El Dorado showcases performances of original choreography by Fae Pink, costumes by Shadou Mintrone, apparatus design and fabrication by Jon Betchtel and dance performed by the the Can Can Dance Company [Jasmine Sim (5th Avenue Theater, Seattle Repertory Theater, ACT Core Company), Jordan Taylor (5th Avenue Theater, ArtsWest, Can Can: Femme Fatale, Zombie Cheerleaders From Hell, Bonbon) Madison Oliver (Spectrum Dance Theater, Can Can: Wonderland, Bonbon, Zombie Cheerleaders From Hell), Shadou Mintrone (5th Avenue Theater, Spectrum Dance Theater, Can Can: Romeo & Juliet, Femme Fatale, Bonbon), Jonathan Betchtel (BFA Cornish, Can Can principal emcee and performer)]. Perfectly paired, Can Can unveils the work of their new Chef Monica Seward (Ravish) - an all-new, Market-fresh and seasonal dinner menu featuring produce from our Frank's Produce, fresh fish from Pure Food Fish Market, meats from Don and Joe's Butcher, and delectable cheese from Beechers, just to name a few.
