Restaurant Can Ribot was one of the best discoveries of our last visit to the Girona province. It is a lovely place, with exactly the kind of food and service that, sadly, we are starting to miss more and more in Spain. Nothing artificial, nothing overcomplicated, just simple and traditional dishes, prepared with care, generosity and a real sense of quality. The portions are excellent, especially considering the price. You really feel that the restaurant is honest in its proposal: good food, good ingredients, good service and fair value. It is not surprising at all that the place is full of locals. That is usually the best sign, and here it says everything. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. There is a good vibe, a relaxed feeling, and the outside terrace is a real plus, with a nice view over the swimming pool. It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable, especially if you are looking for somewhere comfortable and authentic rather than trendy or pretentious. What we liked most was the feeling that this is still a real restaurant, the kind of place where tradition, hospitality and quality matter. The service was warm and efficient, the food was generous and tasty, and the overall experience was excellent from beginning to end. For us, Can Ribot was the best place we found during this trip. A restaurant with soul, good food, fair prices and a local atmosphere. Definitely a place to remember and to come back to.
