What a wonderful place! I came here for a late night bite and drink and was very happy! The late night menu was a little different, but was still great. I had a soup, and the owner recommended to add the rice to it to thicken it. It was great! And the plantains were a wonderful dessert-like food finish the entree. The atmosphere, morning that is November and likely lively in the warmer months, was still fun, with a friendly bartender and nice music, with a variety of Puerto Rican, American, and French music. Puerto Rican food is similar to Mexican, which I read a lot on other reviews, but it's a little lighter and with a little American flair. This is definitely a great addition to the Forcalquier culinary offerings! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Truly delicious and authentic Mexican food and Mediterranean small plates, seriously good! We live in Forcalquier and are SO happy that Canaille has opened here on our main street. The food and cocktails are just divine. Rare to get such authentic Mexican this side of the Atlantic, no less in a town in the Alpes de Haute Provence. Highly recommend. We've already been twice since opening and will be regular customers! Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
