Good location, just as good as the other location. Got the usual chicken fajitas which were great as was the queso, chips, and salsas. Good food without the hustle for parking at the other location

Located in Bellaire is this particular location of @candentehtx . The OG location is a @michelinguide location so you see the pedigree. I work close to this place and frequent the Salata next door. Seeing as it was a Friday I was like let’s try it out. Parking can be hit or miss since it is a shopping center but there’s a garage around the back. I parked and walked in. It was right around 11 but while I was there it was relatively quiet. The service was excellent! Def props there. Now it being Tex Mex there’s good and bad with that. Usually when you’re not sure if it’s Mex or Tex you’ll know if they bring chips and salsa to the table, they did. Whatever the yellow salsa is was FIRE. Don Miguel 8.8/10 - beef taco, beef enchilada, cheese enchilada, jalapeño cheese tamale, an a chile relleno. Man this is a HELL of a combo and it tastes as good as it looks. I don’t think I’ve truly had a Tex Mex experience that made me go Oh. In a long time. Usually whether you do Sitos or El Tiempo or Lupe.. it’s all the same shit lol. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!! Third time in this restaurant and I love it. Very good food and the service is always good. I order the Matamoros its shrimp and beef, my favorite dish. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
