Chinese food is worth a try here. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters offer good chicken chow mein and nicely cooked chicken with mushrooms here. Guests don't highly appreciate ice cream at this restaurant.
At The Canton Chinese Takeaway Poole, you can order food as a takeaway. According to the visitors' opinions, the staff can be hospitable. Many people point out that the service is prompt. Fair prices at this place are good news for its customers. From the guests' point of view, the atmosphere is calm. But google users rated this spot and it didn't achieve a high rating.

I'm making this review on behalf of a friend, he would also like to add that a zero star is needed for the meal he ordered lastnight on the 6th of May 2026, The meal was not of good quality, he ordered ribs and a steak, the meat was very chewy, he said he kept chewing and chewing and the meat would not break up, he said it was like eating leather with a bit of sause covering it, the sause being gravy, gravy that tasted like bisto gravy, so being a Chinese restaurant you would expect the food to have some lovely taste to it, not something that tastes like it come out of someone's kitchen. 1/5 – Absolute shambles of a takeaway We ordered through Uber Eats, which literally gives you the address, live location, and a map yet somehow they still couldn’t find us. After chasing them, we even gave them a nearby address to meet at just to make things easier. Then came the wait Over TWO HOURS for a delivery that should have taken 30–40 minutes. Not once did they inform us about delays. Not once did they say they were busy. Only after 1 hour and 20 minutes, when we called them, did we get the classic excuse: “Oh, sorry, we’re unexpectedly busy.” Unexpectedly busy on a Saturday night? That’s literally the busiest night of the week for any restaurant or takeaway. To make it worse, they got the order wrong — we ordered Coca-Cola and got Diet Coke instead. And after waiting all that time, the food turned up barely even warm, let alone hot. Don’t blame your drivers. Don’t blame the system. If you don’t have enough drivers or can’t cope with order volume, that’s a management issue, not the customer’s problem. Terrible organisation, terrible communication, and a complete waste of our evening. Won’t be ordering again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Have only ordered here 3 x and this time was the worse. I was so looking forward to this meal. The chicken soup was like water, the crispy beef was less than half a tub and the chicken chop suey was totally burnt... uneatable. Really disappointed Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60
