This review is mainly regarding the supervisor (or if they aren’t a supervisor, they clearly felt they had some kind of authority) who was working on Friday morning: late 20s, brown hair? I came in mostly to use the bathroom but decided to order a small chai, the cashier very kindly offered me their smallest cup size which apparently wasn’t for sale. The supervisor swooped in and LOUDLY and condescendingly told us both how it’s not available for purchase. I then went to the bathroom, when I came back she was on her phone choosing music, when another one of her employees asked for super calming music. Again, she LOUDLY and condescendingly said “lo fi is the calmest we can get away with”. It’s not so much WHAT she was saying, but HOW she said it. She was unkind to her employees and it made me incredibly frustrated on their behalf. Also, my chai tasted like pure cinnamon and was way too sweet and was really gross so I threw it away. My point is: supervisor person, if you’re seeing this, do some self reflection about how you treat and speak to your colleagues. Cashier who was very sweet: I’m sorry for you. Watching this all unfold made me glad I don’t work in food service anymore. Price per person: $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
