Modern Coffee Soul in Old Town George Town! Cap Coffee is a gem for any caffeine enthusiast visiting Penang. I was thoroughly impressed by the craftsmanship here. The Coffee: My latte was perfectly balanced—smooth, aromatic, and the latte art was a beautiful touch. You can tell they take their beans seriously. The Vibe: The café has a wonderful "industrial-meets-heritage" feel. It’s airy, bright, and offers a great view of the bustling streets near the waterfront. Experience: It’s the perfect spot to recharge after exploring the nearby clan jetties. If you’re looking for high-quality specialty coffee with a local twist, this is the place to be. Accidentally popped by this cafe and ended up really enjoying it. Their teh was freaking smooth and not overly sweet, which is honestly quite rare these days. Also really liked their sandwiches — somehow it reminded me of my uni days in Taiwan, when I used to spend slow mornings at breakfast shops before class. The whole vibe felt oddly nostalgic in a good way. Would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy comforting food and less sweet drinks. Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
