Michelin Guide rating

A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!

Calling Capa a steakhouse sells it a bit short. Set high on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons Orlando, the restaurant trades in scale and spectacle, with sweeping views and a menu that draws broadly from Spanish-inspired traditions... More info

As a normal restaurant, I would rate this a 4 out of 5 star but as a one Michelin Star Restaurant back when I visited in 2024, I would say that it is a 2 out of 5 star. At the time, this was my first ever Michelin Star experience and it didn’t feel any different than other fine dining restaurants I’ve had been to. It was a restaurant that made me feel that Michelin Stars were a “gimmick” and maybe still is for some. Now seeing that it eventually lost their one star this year, I’m not surprised and it makes sense. I tried A5 Wagyu here for the first time ever and wasn’t amazed; went to another establishment and had it and experienced the difference. The price is also high and maybe that’s the 4 seasons/Disney premium. Atmosphere was great and service was like most Disney experiences (at least compared to pre covid) but not Michelin Star level. My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner here, not only was the food spectacular but our waiter, Christian, was so helpful and kind when it came to dietary restrictions and even going above & beyond to provide me non-alcoholic champagne and mocktails (that’s not just sprite and juice) I really appreciated the fact that he even planned when to take our orders, bring out the food etc based on the firework shows across the Disney parks so we could have time to enjoy them, that was really special! Thank you Christian and thank you CAPA for a wonderful night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
