Cape to Cuba is a unique restaurant in Cape Town that offers a truly authentic Cuban experience. From the moment you enter, you are transported to a different world with its eclectic decor and Cuban-Afro-Jazz music. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the cocktails are delicious. The food is a mix of Cuban and Cape cuisine, with dishes such as paella, ribs, and calamari tapas, all of which are cooked to perfection. The Portuguese bread is a must-try, and the mango and chilli mojito is a refreshing and flavourful drink. What makes this restaurant so special is its stunning views of the harbour and its unique setting, with feet in the sand and trains passing by. Highly recommended for a great night out!

Awesome afternoon with friends for a bite of lunch. Hake and chips in Kalk Bay is kind of a given. Very generous on the chips which is always welcome. One other on our table had the paella. Very cool watching the beachgoers with a drink in hand and a chill atmosphere. Great value for money and quality friendly staff. Kid-friendliness: Probably not for kids as space is tight and busy. Never again. Wildly over priced, sub standard food. Greasy chips, limp salad. The location is fantastic but I imagine that management thinks people will be duped into visiting because of it. Disinterested restaurant waiters, not even an apology when we sent back a meal that was actually off-smelling. Go anywhere else in Kalk Bay.
