Much better than expected from the reviews. We are very particular and found our entrees good. The best hot fudge brownie with ice cream.

This restaurant is located in the Ramada. We stayed during the NC State Fair, which is a 10min walk away. We arrived a bit late, and decided to eat here because of all the traffic. Ordered the mozzarella sticks for an app. Came with 7 sticks.Entrees were the cheeseburger, which was very over cooked. And the N.Y. Strip, which came with canned green beans and fried potatoes. The steak seemed to be microwaved to defrost and lightly seared on a flattop with some Montreal steak seasoning. The entrees were not very good. But, I give them props for making it work and providing this amenity at the hotel. Not many small hotels have restraunts anymore.Breakfast was much better then any other free breakfast at hotels like this. The eggs were cooked nicely and were actually real eggs. Grits were a bit salty, but good. They also had pancakes and bacon. Not sure how they cooked the bacon because it was all in little bits with large clumps of raw bacon stuck together. They should examine thier cooking proccess.

Though I did enjoy the pork loin, I feel like I could have made it at home. It was a simple preparation with Montreal steak seasoning. It came with a choice of potatoes (I did red-skinned) and green beans (most likely came from a can). Just for kicks, I ordered the mozzarella sticks too. I don't know how I feel about them. They were breaded in a way I wasn't familiar with but tasted alright. Seasoning on the breading was extremely light. The waitstaff was super friendly and accommodating (offering to replace iced tea with juice with me being unable to drink tea) but I think they were a bit absent-minded due to the lack of people who came through throughout the day. I wouldn't go again if I had a choice but for what it's worth, it's a satisfying, quick meal if you're marooned in the hotel without a car.
