when the place first opened- it was great, coffee was tasty and they used to have a small discount for government employees. currently coffee tastes underwhelming - coffee itself is quite bitter and the mixed drinks always leave syrup on the bottom. kind of disappointed it went down hill as it is so close to the capital and campus Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The stars are creeping up for various reasons. One is that there’s plenty of seating and good Wi-Fi. I enjoyed sitting here today, listening in on two finance guys debating their stock market obsessions, and getting a lot of work done. Also speed: if you go in there and order your stuff, they will get it to you within seconds. I am never gonna order online from them again, but I was very impressed that they were able to handle the rush of people who came in simultaneously. Do I wish they would smile so they would get more tips? Sure. Do I think it’s possible to smile while working in a coffee shop? No…I would not smile either if I had this job. It’s rude to expect people to smile when you haven’t actually done anything to make them smile. Next time I’ll wear my Groucho Marx glasses and see what happens. Stay tuned for my next visit… Previous review:. Somehow lost my order, I think they gave away my sandwich because they said they’d have to remake it, but they didn’t say that. They didn’t have the coffee ready when I got there. I don’t have great faith in the person who prepared my food. She did not communicate well and for some reason had to remake the sandwich. She did not explain why she also didn’t make any eye contact. She also made me late for an appointment…. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
