After enjoying Gore Park, go to this pizzeria that is not far away. Among other Italian cuisune places to eat at, Capri Ristorante can be one of the best. But google users rated this place and it didn't earn a high rating.

Living in hamilton , you can't help but hear of Capri Ristorante. After hearing of its reputation for decades. I decided to go for lunch on May 14 2026. And I can honestly say I was not impressed, it's like the restaurant is coasting on its reputation.Then providing quality food. I ordered the carbonara and what I received was not a traditional carbonara.. what I got up receiving was a bland flavorless liquid that pulled at the bottom of the dish, instead of that velvet, goodness that is present with traditional carbonara. I mean , bacon does not belong in a carbonara, what a traditional carbonara requires is , guanciale, and a perfect emulsion of Pecorino Romano cheese, eggs, and freshly ground black pepper. For dessert I had the Tiramisu, which was also disappointing.there was no flavor of espresso, plus d plate was covered in big of whipped cream in drizzles of chocolate sauce, that's not how you treat a piece of Tiramisu. I went there to scout the location for a anniversary dinner, i am going to suggest going elsewhere. . Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Reserved a dinner for 12 to celebrate my daughter and her two friends graduation from University. When we arrived we were seated immediately not very crowded but there were a few couples there. Our server Portia was excellent she was courteous and attentive always checking to see if we were good. Every one was pleased with there food and extremely pleased with the service from Portia. Would recommend for a family dinner or couples night out. Was not noisy and open air concept was good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Had many to choose from I had spaghetti broccoli which was very tasty and good portion size.Eggplant parmigiana salads and breads and of course pizzas.

We chose this spot primarily due to its proximity to the theater. We were a little concerned about what our experience was going to be due to the 3.9 rating. Wellwe could not have been more pleasantly surprised!!!!!! Our server was wonderful (think her name was Porsche?). She could not have been more attentive. The owner brought our freshly baked bread. Delish! All 4 meals were really good..not a bite left on any. If you are looking for a “fine dining” eveningthis isn’t it. But for a great meal in a really cute place you can’t go wrong. We will definitely revisit!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian option including Eggplant Parmigiana (which a member of our party thoroughly enjoyed)
