Used to be great, but has clearly gone downhill recently. Been a few months since my last visit and I had to work nearby on Memorial Day so my wife and I decided to order a couple sandwiches. Store was slow inside (no other customers inside) but our online order took 30 minutes. To top it off my Bobbie was greasy and soggy. Like the bread was saturated and through the 3 layers of paper wrap when I pulled it out of the bag. Tried 3 bites and couldn’t force myself to continue. Such a disappointment and waste of what used to be a great sandwich. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

So Capriotti’s is great, but this is the BEST location I’ve tried in the Reno/Sparks area! The sandwiches are better and the staff is so nice! Not that the food is not good at other locations, the Stanford restaurant is just next level. This location is right near my work, so my coworkers and I go here a lot; but, even if I worked on the other side of town, I’d drive to this Capriotti's!! Everyone at my office loves Cap’s. I’m the one at my work that’s in charge of ordering lunch for any event where we need food. Anyone else who’s the office lunch liaison knows it’s nearly impossible finding something everyone likes. I’m telling you, get Capriotti’s and get it at THIS location. The staff never complains about the large order (other sandwich shops that’ll remain nameless have complained) and they have it done so fast! Like super fast! Usually I can call it in/order on line, and then head over right over. My office has 15 or 16 people, depending on the day, and I get 8 larges and ask that they are cut into 6 pieces each; that way everyone can grab a few pieces of different subs. I have found this easier than the catering option just IMHO. For your next work lunch, consider getting Capriotti’s! ETA: At my office, we call a Philly Cheesesteak with sweet peppers, extra hot peppers, extra onions, and extra mushrooms “Gary’s Style,” trust me you’ll love it! ETA #2: I order those 8 large subs, and 5 of them end up being “Gary’s Style” Philly Cheesesteaks. In the 3.5 years I’ve been ordering Cap’s for the office, the only feedback I’ve ever gotten from my coworkers has been, “Can we get more cheesesteaks like that?” Before long 8/8 may just be cheesesteaks haha. We just had the most unpleasant experience at Capriottis today. Two weeks ago we tried the sandwich shop for our first time. The service was wonderful and the sandwich also. We couldn't wait to come back again. Today, there was just two Mexicans working there and told us it would be a wait as they are short handed. Do we still want to wait they said. So we waited and had to listen to their loud Mexican music. When our sandwich was ready we left instead of eating there and don't know if we will be going back.
