Just beside the highway, it is super easy to get to. The vibe inside is part Showa cafe/diner, part Bavarian schnitzel house. Good selection of deep fried and curry dishes.. Portions are large, so bring your appetite. The one server really tried to make us feel more comfortable with using some English. Great little lunch spot... Give it a try. On our holiday to Tsuyama, let's go through Akaiwa City today. I stopped by Captain along the main road for a break during my drive, which is famous as an elegant Showa cafe. Both the exterior and interior are showing their age, but they are in very good condition. The velvet-like deep green sofa has a perfect atmosphere and is extremely comfortable to sit on ^^ I ordered Morning Set B (500 yen) and it arrived after a 10 minute wait. Strongly grilled toast, fried eggs, prosciutto, and salad. ．． ．． It's a standard content, but it has a great sense of stability! I sat there for a while while enjoying some dark roasted blended coffee. ．． ．． Cypress pollen is at its maximum, but let's enjoy a sunny holiday (*^^*)
