Been coming to Captain D's for years. No matter what, whoever is taking our order always has an excellent attitude. Employees seem like they care, which is a rarity these days in fast food. Food is always hot and fresh. You might have to wait a little bit, but it beats getting luke warm food like most chains in the area. The food was great; however, I observed some concerning food-handling practices. Employees did not appear to wash their hands regularly, and the same gloves were used for both cleaning and food preparation. I also witnessed a manager lick a gloved finger and then handle a customer’s food. These practices raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. Manager need to do their job better.
